

first generation Venezuelan moved to the USA when he was 10 years old and was raised in Elkins, WV. In 2004 he formed ¡Comparsa! and sings lead, plays classical guitar, and percussion.
In addition, he plays in Dúo Divertido with his wife Elizabeth Segessenman. He has worked with Betty King and Maestro Grant Cooper of the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra, and has presented his program "Latin America: Music, Culture, and Dance" in Randolph, Cabell and Kanawha Counties. Eduardo Canelón and ¡Comparsa! was featured on Charleston's NPR radio show Mountain Stage in February of 2008.
